The Robart R780 is a 7 cylinder radial engine 1/5 scale of a Jacobs 225 HP engine that powered many of the military training and civilian airplanes of the 30's, 40's, and 50's.
We have incorporated many features of the full sized engine into this engine; to name a few: hemi head, large valves, with steel seats and bronze guides, special chrome-plated cylinders, 2 ring pistons, roller lifters, ball bearings throughout, oil pump, up draft carburetor with booster fan, and a 4130 steel tube motor mount with rubber dampers. All this to bring you the look, the sound, and the power of a true model airplane radial engine.
